ABOUT Student Writer Presentations
As part of this summer’s New Musicals Lab at Christopher Newport University’s Ferguson Center, two groups of company members will collaborate with industry professionals to explore the creative process—from early ideas to new material in development—while also beginning work on their own original musicals.
Join us for a special public conversation with the student creative teams. This informal session offers a behind-the-scenes look at the development process, insights into their collaborative work, and an introduction to the students’ own new projects in progress. Expect conversation, creativity, and a few surprises along the way. We invite you to take an exciting glimpse into the future of new musical theatre.
